This is a fairly flexible form of worship based upon ‘Common Worship’ material which usually lasts around 50 minutes to an hour. At the heart of the worship is the ‘Word of God’ as we listen to two bible readings and then a sermon.
There are also four or five hymns or songs, mainly traditional ones, although we try to include one that is more modern. The robed choir give us a valuable lead in the singing.
And of course there are always prayers – some to join in with, some times of silence, and then there are prayers for the world and people we are concerned about.
Come along ready for a 9.30 start and then enjoy a coffee or tea with us afterwards - we shall make you very welcome.
